Fencing in Rome, GA & Northwest Georgia
A fence marks a boundary, adds privacy and keeps kids, pets and livestock where they belong. Tony's Landscape & Tree Service installs and repairs fences as part of its hardscape and property improvement work.
Because Tony's handles the grading and land clearing too, the fence line gets cleared and leveled before the posts go in — which is what keeps a fence standing straight for years.

What fencing covers
Fencing means installing, replacing or repairing wood privacy fences, chain-link fences, livestock fences and property-line fences. On a hilly Northwest Georgia lot that often means following a slope, setting posts deep and grading the fence line so water does not pool at the base.
The posts and the ground prep underneath matter more than the boards or wire. Proper post spacing, depth and drainage are what keep a fence from leaning or blowing out after a wet winter.

Fencing questions
- Do you build new fences or just repair old ones?
- Both. Tony's installs new fences and repairs or replaces leaning, rotting or storm-damaged fences, including clearing the line and fixing the grading that caused the problem.
- What kind of fences do you install?
- Wood privacy fences, chain-link, livestock and property-line fences are the most common. We talk through the options, height and look that fit the property.
- Can you clear the fence line before building?
- Yes. Brush clearing, stump removal and grading along the fence line are part of the same project, which is what keeps the fence straight and sound.
- Do you handle fences on a slope?
- Yes. Following a grade is standard work — posts are set deep and the fence is stepped or racked to follow the ground so there are no gaps underneath.
- How long does a fence take to build?
- It depends on the length, terrain, access and how much clearing or grading is involved. We give a realistic time frame with the estimate.
- Do you give free estimates on fencing?
- Yes. Call (706) 676-0193 or send the free estimate form and we will come look at the site.
